Run Rhino Run
I recently had one of my most memorable wildlife sightings of all time. I had the privilege of spending an afternoon with a baby rhino and her mother on a secret location in Kenya. The baby was just a couple of days old and the show she put on was one of the cutest things I have ever witnessed in my wildlife photography career.
The tiny girl ran circles around her mum and I am pleased to report that this rhino is safe and being protected by Kenya Wildlife Service rangers.
The Wrong End - After running amok, this rhino girl developed a thirst and she knew her mother had the answer. The only trouble was that she was trying to drink at the wrong end; the mother's teats are between the back legs (secret location in Kenya).
Taking A Break - This young rhino girl was tired of practicing her running and decided to take a break (secret location in Kenya).
Run Rhino Run - Rhinos are under severe poaching pressure but this little calf (in a secret location in Kenya) is under permanent guard by Kenya Wildlife Service rangers. Both her and her mother are happy, safe, and living wild and free in Africa.
Taking a Load Off - This young rhino girl was tired of practicing her running and decided to just take a load off (secret location in Kenya).
Coming At You - This tiny rhino ran straight towards me; allowing me to capture this portrait of her with both front legs in the air. It was an utterly delightful experience (secret location in Kenya).
