The ‘bushveld’ is the colloquial name for the African savannah in South Africa. It is a term, and a place, that pulls at the heartstrings. It is also a difficult place to photograph – it is bushy! Sticking my lens through one such bush I created this portrait. It is as much about the zebra as it is about the ambiance and mystery of the bushveld.
