In Africa the stage is often set: the curtain lifts, lights come on, props are in place and for all intensive purposes it is lights, camera, action. Except very often the lead actors are a no-show! On this particular afternoon, I was more than relieved when the lead role appeared on stage, walking through the golden forest just on cue (Zambezi Valley).
