There are few places wilder than the backwaters of Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park. It was here that I was camped when a pack of Cape Hunting Dog (also known as painted wolves or wild dog), killed an impala antelope. The subsequent feeding frenzy resulted in a plume of dust, onto which my subject’s shadow was cast.
