Serendipity

We had been on safari in Botswana's Okavango Delta for over a week and had not seen another safari truck. When we found a female leopard sitting on a log, we were suitably thrilled. But when a young cub, barely two weeks old and with blue eyes, popped out a hole and ran down the trunk to investigate a rustle in the grass, we could not believe the serendipity of it all.
